Kyyba Announces New Vice President and CCO

FARMINGTON HILLS — Jim Patrick has joined Michigan-based engineering and IT staffing firm Kyyba Inc. as vice president and chief consulting officer (CCO). President and CEO Tel Ganesan made the announcement today.

In his position, Patrick will be responsible for expanding Kyyba’s services to a new client base in the US. Patrick will be overseeing sales, consulting, and business development.

“For more than 40 years, Jim has worked in the business field for top companies such as American Airlines and GE. Now he is sharing his knowledge with our staff and our clients. He has an awareness for new emerging technologies, understands their impact for a business and how to strategize on such emergence,” said Ganesan. “There’s no better person to expand my company at this time than Jim Patrick.”

Patrick was a senior executive with American Airlines, GE, Paramount Communications, Sun Microsystems, Keane and Computer Associates as well as several early stage start-ups. Patrick is well regarded as a tactical and strategic business strategist. Patrick has also studied emerging mobile and cloud technologies. During the mid-eighties, he founded American Airlines’ “think tanks” that produced a number of new AMR subsidiaries in the late 80s.

Kyyba is experiencing rapid growth, prompting the company to hire additional committed professionals. Ganesan has a vision, which requires the best talent in the industry, talent like Patrick.

From 1989 -1990 he served as the President of the Texas Computer Industry Council, the trade association of that time for the technology industry that worked with the governor’s office that attracted many of the technology players to Texas and to start-up in Texas. Patrick personally founded The James N. Patrick Group and Millennium Productions Inc. Millennium Productions produced over 1600 radio commentaries on trends. His publishing accuracy rate for predicting future events was 79.8 percent. Patrick was a Radio Host for KRLD (CBS Dallas) for 3 years, and he also hosted for CNN Radio in Dallas and covered national and international stories. He was the only US correspondent to cover the Number 10 Downing Street Bombing live in 1990. He was also a professional speaker for 10 years and was featured as a ‘futurist’ and addressed numerous, government, university, corporate and association audiences from around the world. Patrick has been quoted in numerous publications, including The Wall Street Journal and BusinessWeek.

Patrick earned his BA degree in Political Science from University of Louisville and currently resides in Denton, Texas, on his Alpaca Ranch.
