NOVI — Five former Hiller’s Market locations will reopen as Kroger stores next week. Investment in the former locations is part of Kroger’s Michigan-wide strategy to invest nearly $150 million in Michigan store remodels, expansions, and new fuel centers throughout 2015.

“We believe customers will appreciate the store updates and welcome the opportunity to return and see their favorite associates from Hiller’s,” says Jayne Homco, president at The Kroger Co. of Michigan. “Kroger is committed to providing quality products with many fresh selections from local farms. We also offer a variety of specialty items and ethnic foods.”

Shoppers may apply for the Kroger Plus card during the re-grand opening, that allows them to enjoy sale prices, receive coupons, and earn discounts on fuel at Kroger fuel centers and select Shell stations.

The first 400 shoppers will receive a $10 gift card and free reusable shopping bag on July 22. Stores will also offer product sampling and specials throughout the day.
