Kraemer Design Promotes Architect to Executive Team

DETROIT — Kraemer Design Group PLC, a high-end architecture, interior design, and creative firm, has promoted architect Brian Rebain from studio director to architectural director and associate.

Rebain will lead the technical aspects of KDG projects with a special focus on adaptive reuse and renovation of historic structures. He will also join company founders Bob and Maureen Kraemer and fellow associate Heather McKeon on the executive team, setting the goals and direction of the firm.

Rebain acted as KDG’s architectural lead on several award-winning residential and mixed-use projects including the Broderick Tower in downtown Detroit, the Durant in Flint, and the Standart Lofts in Toledo.

Rebain earned both his bachelor and master’s degrees in architecture from the University of Michigan. He joined KDG in the spring of 2006 after a series of diverse experiences spanning architecture, construction and community service.
