KPMG Adds New Managing Director to Detroit Office

Denis Roy has joined KPMG LLP as an advisory managing director for the risk consulting, actuarial and insurance risk practice in the national firm’s Detroit office.

Roy will be responsible for developing business and leading the firm’s Pension and Retirement Benefits Segment of the Actuarial and Insurance Risk Network.

Most recently, Roy was the chief actuary for Chrysler Group LLC. Prior to that, he spent more than 10 years as a consultant in the Chicago office of both Towers Watson and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He began his career as a consultant with Chicago Consulting Actuaries LLC in Chicago. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.

Roy, of Oxford, earned a Bachelor of Science in actuarial mathematics from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
