Kimberly Ronnisch Named Chief Nursing Officer at DMC Adult Central Campus

The Detroit Medical Center, a leading regional health care system based in Detroit, announced Kimberly Ronnisch as the chief nursing officer for DMC Adult Central Campus.

Ronnisch has more than 29 years of experience in operations, clinical practice, strategic planning, and innovation where she has successfully improved clinical quality, safety, patient and family experience, and financial performance.

Most recently, she served as the vice president of nursing/chief nursing officer for Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospitals. She also served as vice president of nursing and operations at Ascension River District Hospital, and director of women’s and children’s services at Ascension St. John Hospital.

She earned her master’s degree in health care administration from Walden University, and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Wayne State University. She holds a certificate in integrative healing arts and is board certified in the specialty of holistic nursing.
