DETROIT — Bill Snethkamp CJDR has launched a special promotion to “keep Detroit moving” by offering retail customers in the city’s fast-growing Midtown, Downtown, and New Center areas deep discounts on new and used cars, trucks, and vans and a discount on parts, service, and body repairs from Snethkamp’s dealership in Highland Park.
“We have been in the Highland Park area since 1926 and are very pleased to see the revitalization of the Midtown area,” said Mark Snethkamp Sr. President of the Snethkamp Automotive Group. “We thought this promotion would be a win-win, allowing for retail customers and small businesses … to buy or lease a vehicle with a $100 to $500 special Snethkamp discount (based on 1% of selling price without License, Title or Tax).” No gimmicks, just a great deal!
Snethkamp announced that the program begins July 10 and runs through September 30, 2012. Snethkamp will also offer 10% off any vehicles service, body shop repair or part invoice. Snethkamp said the idea was sparked by the Grand Prix in Detroit, redevelopment of the Midtown area, proposed M1 rail project to 8 Mile and the question, What can our company do to help move Detroit forward?
“One of Snethkamp’s affiliated companies – Corporate Fleet Services’ – customer, Royal Transportation, leases shuttle bus and other vehicles from Corporate Fleet, and they did a great job in moving people around the city from staging areas and parking lots to Belle Isle for the Grand Prix. If we can also help small businesses or residents in the Midtown area with their transportation needs, well we will have done something good for the city and its supporters,” Snethkamp said.
The company plans to launch a marketing and promotional effort in the Midtown (downtown & new center) area with fliers on the program, direct mail pieces, and publicity effort.
