Karmanos Cancer Institute Plans Annual Benefit Dinner


The Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute will hold its Annual Dinner April 16 at Michigan Motion Picture Studios in Pontiac.

The dinner will raise funds to benefit cancer research at the world-renowned cancer center based in Detroit.

The dinner will be a black tie event and include a cocktail reception, a seated dinner, brief program, entertainment, a raffle and a live auction. Hank Winchester, head of the “Help Me Hank” consumer reporting unit on WDIV-TV (Channel 4), will serve as emcee for the gala.
