BIRMINGHAM — It’s a sensational summer at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center with a host of camps for kids and adults and workshops designed to spur creativity and embrace spontaneity.

“With so many unique classes and workshops available, plan to be inspired at the BBAC,” said Annie VanGelderen, Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center President & CEO. “We invite you to get creative and lose yourself in one of our favorites or newly created classes. Our three day, three media adult camp, which begins July 23, is the perfect way to take some time for yourself and recharge this summer.”

SUMMER WORKSHOPS and ART CAMPS

Genuine art-making experiences are available and it’s not too late to register for summer camps. High school campers can choose from fashion camp, explorations in contemporary art, metals and jewelry, portfolio prep and more. The younger set — campers grades first through eighth — can sign up for two weeks or four separate one-week options: clay, fashion, metals and jewelry, wheel throwing, and more. And there are camps for the little ones (Pre/K and Kindergarten) as well.  For a complete list, visit www.BBArtCenter.org.
