ROYAL OAK — Judson Center has named two new appointments to its executive management team. Joining the agency are Gloria M. Reid, controller, and William Lodge, director of human resources. Both are in newly created positions at the agency.
In her new position as controller, Reid , far left, will supervise all major accounting areas, oversee accounting and financial reporting activities, support creation of operating efficiencies and support compliance with governmental legal requirements. She joins Judson Center with more than 13 years experience in overseeing financial operations for organizations in the health field. Her most recent position was financial services director with The Wellness Plan in Detroit. Reid also brings experience with her from Detroit Community Health Connection Inc. and Mercy Health Services. She holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a bachelor of science in accounting from Wilberforce University.
Lodge will be providing strategic oversight for Judson Center’s human resources department and will be responsible for developing approaches to workforce planning, talent acquisition and retention, total compensation, performance management, organizational culture, and employee engagement.
Lodge joins Judson Center after 12 years at GreenPath Inc. in Farmington Hills, where he was director of human resources and legal affairs. He holds a bachelor of arts from Ohio State University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
