HP Global Advisors (HPGA) in Washington D.C. announced the addition of Jonathan Quarles, founder and CEO of The BTL Group — a boutique consulting firm based in Detroit — to the firm, where he will be international business advisor and ESG investment strategist.

“We are incredibly excited to have Jonathan join our team at HPGA,” says Jarvis Stewart, chairman and CEO of Highland Poe, HPGA’s parent company. “I’ve had the pleasure of watching him build strategic partnerships and create growth opportunities in the United States and globally for several years. His expertise and relationships with government leaders and investors will add immediate value to the firm’s growth strategy.”

At The BTL Group, Quarles advised a wide range of companies on new market expansion and strategic relationship management. He is also the founder and CEO of Quartz Water Source, a hub for innovative clean water solutions from around the world inspired by the Flint water crisis.

“I am strongly aligned with HGPA’s forward-looking focus on global high-growth markets,” says Quarles. “The firm’s broad menu of professional services and cross-industry connectivity will help clients unlock value quickly, positioning them for growth in the U.S. and abroad. I look forward to getting started.”
