Haven of Oakland County appointed Jen Porter as the new vice president of development. She brings with her a background of more than 15 years in fund development, community relations, and nonprofit management.
Porter’s career includes her tenure as development director at Rochester University, where she spearheaded numerous initiatives, fostering widespread partnerships, and deepening community ties throughout Oakland County and beyond.
In her new position, Porter will use her experience to enhance fundraising efforts, expand community outreach, and further the organization’s mission to provide safety and support to those affected by domestic violence and sexual assault.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jen Porter to Haven,” says Christine Kinal, executive director of Haven of Oakland County. “Her impressive track record, combined with her passion for community engagement, aligns perfectly with our goals and values. We are confident that Jen’s leadership and vision will greatly contribute to our growth and the betterment of the communities we serve.”
