FARMINGTON HILLS – JARC, an organization serving people with disabilities, has teamed up with three other local non-profit agencies — JVS, Angel’s Place, and Kadima — to host its first ever job fair with more than 100 jobs available.

“We’re always looking for energetic and talented individuals who have a passion for helping and serving people with disabilities to work in our group homes, individual homes and family homes in the community,” says Lisa Rothberger, chief talent officer for JARC.

There is no charge to attend the recruiting event to be held 10 a.m. to 12:30 March 18 and it is open to the community. All four companies are looking to fill a variety of full, part time and occasional direct care staff positions to provide support, interaction, and care for people with developmental disabilities of all ages.

The job fair is also looking for direct care professionals who are fluent in American sign language and there will be an interpreter available from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Interested candidates should have a valid Michigan driver’s license, be at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma/GED and bring a recent resume to the event. The four agencies will be interviewing on the spot. JARC is located at 30301 Northwestern Hwy. in Farmington Hills. For more information call 248-538-6611.
