Detroit-based Clark Hill has recently added John T. (J.T.) Moran III to their litigation group as senior counsel in the firms Las Vegas office.
With almost 20 years of legal experience, he has served clients in a number of fields including finance, infrastructure, and gaming.
“JT will be a key connector for Clark Hill in Las Vegas as the firm expands its Gaming Industry Initiative,” Kaveri Subbarao, litigation business unit director says. “Las Vegas is a unique business environment, and the Moran family goes back four generations. JT knows the people, the Courts and most importantly how business is done, the Vegas way. Our clients and the firm will benefit greatly from his insider’s perspective.”
With a primary focus on serving the gaming industry, Moran III’s practice works with gaming operations involving land-based gaming, internet gaming, and the manufacturing and distribution of gaming equipment.
“The national and global gaming companies that I represent need the full range of services that a global firm like Clark Hill offers,” says Moran. “With the explosion in Internet gaming, as well as the expansion of brick-and-mortar gaming across the country, the opportunity to be the one-stop shop for gaming clients is what the combination of Moran and Clark Hill offers clients.”
Moran attended Arizona State University and graduated honors with a B.A. in Political Science. Then, he attended the California Western School of Law where he earned his J.D.
