Illitch Holdings Names New Vice President

DETROIT — Illitch Holdings Inc. has named veteran human resources executive Michael Edicola as vice president of human resources.

In his new role, Edicola will lead the human resource functions across all the Ilitch companies after a retirement recently left the post vacant.  He will oversee human resource strategies, programs and processes, including employee engagement, recruiting and retention initiatives, leadership development and compliance.

Edicola was the senior vice president of human resources for the Clearwater Paper Corp., and served in several executive human resource positions including Baxter International and General Electric, where he spent 14 years developing his skills in a number of human resource disciplines. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Relations from Le Moyne College in Syracyse, NY, and a M.A. in Human Resources/Labor and Employment Relations from the University of Cincinnati.
