Identity Names New Creative Account Manager

BINGHAM FARMS — Bingham Farms-based Identity, an integrated public relations firm, announced that Julie Cook has joined the firm as a creative account manager. Identity Managing Partner Mark Winter made the announcement.

As creative account manager, Cook is responsible for management and implementation of digital and print marketing campaigns for a range of Identity’s local and national clients.

Prior to joining Identity, Cook managed sales and merchandising in New York for fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff, in addition to serving as a personal shopper for Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. She also worked at Detroit-based Franco Public Relations Group as a retail and lifestyle account manager, providing strategic public relations counsel, as well as serving as social media manager for Troy-based BrainGain Marketing, where she created and managed blog development strategies.

In addition to her work with Identity, Cook volunteers with several local charities, including the Team Julian Foundation, where she coordinates public relations and fundraising efforts benefiting children with cancer.

Cook attended the University of Michigan, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications and political science.
