BINGHAM FARMS — Identity, a Bingham Farms-based public relations firm, announced that it has been recognized as a winner of three MarCom Awards for 2014 — a national honor recognizing outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals.

The MarCom Awards has grown to one of the largest and most respected of its kind. In 2014, MarCom had more than 6,500 entries throughout the United States, Canada, and 15 other countries.

This year, the following Identity media relations and social media campaigns were chosen as MarCom Gold Award recipients:

  • Absopure Pure Michigan Partnership, Gold winner in the social media campaign category
  • Del Taco Epic Burrito Challenge, Gold winner in the special event category
  • Bill Pulte, Gold winner in the publicity campaign category

“We are proud to have our great work recognized nationally as a result of this honor,” says Mark Winter, managing partner at Identity. “As the communications landscape has evolved since Identity was founded in 1998, we continue to develop and launch innovative campaigns, and partner with our clients to tell their stories in unique and exciting ways.”

Earlier this year, Identity was recognized nationally in the communications industry as a 2014 PR Daily Awards finalist for its rebranding campaign for Wilbanks Energy Logistics, and a 2014 PR Daily Media Relations finalist for its executive visibility campaign for Bill Pulte and the Detroit Blight Authority.

The agency has received two Gold Hermes Creative Awards in both the “Logo/Design” and “Website Overall/Business to Business” categories, as well.
