BIRMINGHAM — The tables are just about set and the grill is firing up to a searing 1800 degrees. The Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse will open its doors in Birmingham on Thursday, June 7th, 2012. Hyde Park is proud to open its first Michigan location and present its award-winning steaks, diverse fish and seafood offerings.
“We are excited to show Birmingham our passion for exceptional food and service, and we’re looking forward to making friends in our new surroundings,” said Joe Saccone, President, Hyde Park Restaurant Group. “Whether you’re part of a romantic evening for two, a girls’ night out, or a celebration for fifty, we hope each visit is a new and stimulating experience.”
The Menu
Hyde Park’s chef-driven menu will feature variations of its legendary aged prime steaks and continue its tradition of naming signature dishes after area sports celebrities. Naturally, the Birmingham menu will honor Detroit sports legends and future hall-of-famers. A sampling of the celebrity named steaks include a filet mignon crowned with lobster and béarnaise, while another steak will feature two petite cuts of tenderloin wrapped in bacon and blue cheese. Hyde Park will also offer prime dry-aged and Wagyu “Kobe-style” steaks.
Beyond its award-winning steaks, Hyde Park will offer a daily blackboard menu of fresh fish and seafood, representing all coasts. Rare cuts will be featured, including a unique tuna bone-in chop.
More than thirty wines-by-the-glass and an imaginative martini list, with flirty drinks like White Pear Martini, Crushed Berry Martini, or Blood Orange Cosmo Martini, will be offered for sipping at The Bar or pairing with a meal. The Happy Hour Bar Menu will present a creative selection of small plate items for sharing, that will change monthly. Initial items include, Dry-Aged Sirloin Sliders, Shrimp Spring Rolls, Fresh Truffle Potato Chips, Mango-Glazed Bacon Sticks and Rustic Lobster Pizza.
The Scene
The restaurant’s rich, stylish décor features lots of comfortable leather seating, wood-paneled walls, three fireplaces, portrait-lit art and museum framed oil paintings suspended from the ceiling.
“Our three beautifully appointed dining rooms will be available for private events,” said Daniel Cosenzi, General Manager.” We have private and semi-private dining venues that will accommodate 8 to 120 guests”, continued Mr. Cosenzi…
Hyde Park will be open for dinner Monday through Wednesday 5:00pm-10:00pm, Thursday through Saturday 5:00pm-10:30pm, and Sunday 5:00pm-8:00pm. The Bar at Hyde Park opens weekdays and Sundays at 4:30pm and Saturdays at 5:00pm.
