Hunter Douglas App Wins Mobile W3 Award

Ann Arbor — The International Academy of the Visual Arts W3 Awards announced The Hunter Douglas “The Art of Window Dressing” iPad application has been granted the 2012 Silver Award in the Mobile Applications for the Shopping category. It was previously named Best Consumer Goods Mobile Application and Best Design Mobile Application in the first international Web Marketing Association MobileWebAwards.

Created by Enlighten and Hunter Douglas, “The Art of Window Dressing” invites consumers to explore over 50 Hunter Douglas products and 5,000 color and fabric options in order to facilitate the purchasing process.

“With a high consideration product like premium window fashions, an accessible application that is completely brand aligned is a critical marketing tool,” says Steve Glauberman, CEO of Enlighten. “Simply by downloading the free app in iTunes, consumers can visualize the way the products would look in their own homes, and customize them to their tastes and needs prior to making a purchase in-store.”
