Humana Names New Sales Executive of Michigan

TROY — Steve Cassells as joined Humana Inc. as a specialty sales executive and Victoria Coley has been promoted as a sales executive to the Michigan market.

 Cassells will consult with state brokers and clients that employ 100-999 benefit eligible employees to place dental, vision, worksite voluntary benefits, HumanaVitality and Concentra Worksite Clinics within their benefit portfolio.

Cassells has 15 years of experience in voluntary and ancillary employee benefits with expertise in business development, sales, and sales management. His experience with leading national enrollment and benefit communication companies in the design, sale, and implementation of voluntary benefit, vision and dental offerings to the large group segment brings a significant resource to Michigan benefits brokers.

Prior to joining Humana, Cassells was a regional sales manager for National Benefits Group of America, where he was responsible for the sales of benefit communication programs and insurance products to healthcare systems. Cassells is a native of Detroit and attended Michigan State University. His industry credentials include Certified Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant and he is currently completing a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist designation.

In addition, Coley’s promotion expands her role to now consult with Michigan brokers and clients that employ more than 1,000 benefit eligible employees to place dental, vision, worksite voluntary benefits, HumanaVitality and Concentra Worksite Clinics within their benefit portfolio.

Coley has held multiple sales and leadership positions throughout her 12 year career at Humana, including responsibility for the distribution and strategy for the group medical, dental, medical stop loss, and workplace voluntary product lines. Prior to Humana, her efforts in the employee benefits industry from both the carrier and employer perspectives has given her a multifaceted view of benefit strategy and communication. Coley holds a Master’s of Business Administration and Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Arizona State University.
