  • Honigman provides a collegial environment fostering professional and personal growth for our lawyers, paralegals and staff.
  • Honigman offers an annual fitness reimbursement of $150, wellness courses and publications, subsidized annual flu shots, nutrition classes, retirement planning education, optical program, and on-site weight management meetings.
  • Honigman provides monetary gifts upon marriage and the birth of a child as well as holiday bonuses.
  • Complimentary special events hosted by Honigman include: an annual picnic for all employees and their families (for the past two years we have rented the Detroit Zoo for an evening), annual staff appreciation day celebration with gifts and meals/treats and other various celebrations throughout the year.
  • The Honigman Institute for Professional Growth – a management development program created to enhance the knowledge and skills of the managerial and supervisory non-lawyer management staff with a goal of continuing to grow our sharp employee engagement, satisfaction, internal and external customer service, teamwork and communication.
  • The Honigman Business Fundamentals Institute (HBFI) – aims to provide new attorneys exposure to a wide array of legal and business issues to create a more well-rounded practitioner.  Each month, a senior attorney presents a particular topic during a two-hour lunch meeting.
  • For employment anniversaries in 5 year increments, a generous gift selection program is in place to recognize these significant milestones.
  • The Honigman S.T.A.R. reward program recognizes performance contributing to extraordinary service, ideas or efficiencies. Informal recognition of good work is also given.
  • Weekly Updates sent out via e-mail to alert employees of updates, events, recognition and important information.
  • Weekly and monthly meetings are held among all levels and departments, such as lunch with the CEO, semi-annual associate attorney dinner meetings, quarterly management meetings, semi-monthly Leadership Group meetings, monthly administrative department and practice group meetings and secretarial coordinator meetings with HR. The goal is to keep everyone abreast of and involved in important events and happenings.
  • Attorney Affinity groups were formed to provide informal avenues of communication, foster relationships and encourage dialog across legal practice groups. An example is our Affinity group for parents.
  • Honigman offers concierge services including travel reservation assistance, on-site massage therapist and other convenience services such as a comfort/wellness room.
  • Honigman has a “flex-schedule” program which allows team members to select the start and end times for their 8 hour work day schedule.
