Honigman Names James Reid IV to Labor and Employment Department in Ann Arbor

Honigman, a Detroit-based full-service general business law firm, announced James Reid IV has joined its labor and employment department as a partner in the firm’s Ann Arbor office.

Reid specializes in counseling business owners, entrepreneurs, C-suite executives, in-house counsel, and human resource directors to help them make strategic business decisions from hiring to firing. He helps clients comply with the ever-changing and overlapping laws, including the Age Discrimination and Employment Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, and National Labor Relations Act, among others.

Reid joins the firm from Dinsmore & Shohl, where he served as a partner.

He earned his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School and his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.
