Richard J. Burstein, a real estate partner at Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP, has been named to the 2015 Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame by Midwest Real Estate News.
The Hall of Fame members were chosen from more than 500 Midwest commercial real estate professionals who were nominated for the depth of their experience and their contributions to the profession.
Burstein, who has more than 45 years of legal experience, represents national and regional commercial real estate developers and tenants throughout the United States. He advises clients on transactions, investments and the development of regional and community shopping centers, office complexes and industrial parks, urban redevelopment projects, multifamily residential developments and the structuring and creation of real estate investment trusts (REITs).
Burstein, of Bloomfield Hills, earned his Bachelor of Art in economics from the University of Michigan and his juris doctor from Wayne State University Law School.
