Hispanic Chamber Names Membership Director

The Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has named Nilda Thomas its new membership director. Thomas has more than 20 years of marketing technology solutions experience, including marketing positons fortune 500 companies, Deloitte, Microsoft, and AT&T.

Thomas has experience in sales and in building relationships with an emphasis on strategy, analytics, and social media monitoring applications. She has covered markets in automotive, manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, e-commence, software and telecommunications.

Thomas is a certified e-commerce consultant and certified e-marketing analyst. She is a member of the senior analyst Network for Demand Metric, honorary global adviser for the American Association of Project Managers, certified e-commerce consultant Certifying Board, and serves on the Matrix Human Services board of directors and their Transition To Success National Strategy Council to eradicate poverty.

Thomas will be leading the chamber’s corporate and member recruitment and retention strategies and will head membership marketing, strategy and events and serve as staff liaison on committees.
