Henry Ford Community College to Host Career Expo

DEARBORN — Nearly, 40 employers have committed to attend Henry Ford Community College’s  Career Expo on Friday at the Andrew A. Mazzara Administration Services & Conference Center located on the main campus.

Among the  employers that have confirmed their attendance at the Career Expo include Oakwood Healthcare System, the Dearborn Police Dept., United Parcel Service, the U.S. Army, Speedway, Guardian Alarm, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Police Dept., Bankers Life and Casualty Co., Central Transport, eFund Insurance, Rapids Response EMS, Jacob’s Technology, Kelly Services, Antonio’s Cucina Italiana ,and Busch’s Fresh Food Markets.

Employers can participate in the morning session, which is from 9 a.m. to noon or the afternoon session, which is from 2 to 5 p.m. Each session is $50. The majority of employers are participating in both sessions, says Chad Austin, HFCC career services officer.

Austin says employers must register before the deadline on Wednesday.
