DETROIT — Health Alliance Plan has promoted Todd Hutchison to senior vice president and chief financial officer. Hutchison was vice president of underwriting and actuarial services.
As the CFO, Hutchison of Grosse Pointe Park, will oversee financial performance, product line profitability, underwriting, analytical, actuarial, and reporting activities. His previous career was at Health Alliance Medical Plan in Urbana, Ill. as vice president, sales and account management. He has held leadership positions at the Principal Financial Group and Cigna HealthCare.
Hutchison earned a master’s degree in business administration from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa, and a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Iowa. He is a Fellow in the Life Management Institute.
