DETROIT — Robert J. Lenihan, a partner in Harness Dickey’s litigation practice group, has been named general counsel of the firm.
In addition to continuing his Litigation practice, Lenihan will be responsible for advising the executive committee on selected legal issues.
Lenihan has more than 35 years of experience in complex federal and state litigation and dispute resolution. In addition to his experience in intellectual property trial and appellate practice, he has significant experience in general corporate defense, licensing litigation, and product liability defense. He has argued several cases of first impression involving litigation of non-competition agreements and trade secrets.
Lenihan obtained his J.D. from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati.
