Harley Ellis Devereaux Names New Design Studio Leader

DETROIT —  Harley Ellis Devereaux has added Kenneth Clein as a higher education design studio leader.

Clein has 30 years of practice in the industry, most recently as a principal and higher education market leader with a strong emphasis on sustainable design, building transformations and historic preservation. His key projects include: The Ann Arbor Municipal Center, renovation and addition for the city of Ann Arbor (LEED Gold); Hill Auditorium, renovation and restoration at the University of Michigan (a 2005 AIA National Honor Award winning project); and the McKenny Union renovation at Eastern Michigan University.

Additionally, Clein has established relationships within the marketplace, and a track record of success as both a business developer and project team leader.
