HAP CEO Teresa Kline Appointed to Non-Profit Board

The Grand Canyon Association, the official Arizona-based non-profit partner of Grand Canyon National Park, has appointed Birmingham native Teresa Kline to its board of directors for 2017.

“These appointments reflect GCA’s continued commitment to creating a diverse, collaborative board that will effectively lead GCA into the future,” says Susan Schroeder, chief executive officer of GCA. “Their professional expertise will be invaluable as we grow our capacity to serve the park.”

Teresa Kline is president and CEO of Health Alliance Plan and executive vice president of Henry Ford Health System. Kline has spent 35 years working in managed care and healthcare delivery, she serves on the boards of directors of LaunchPoint and Presbyterian Health Services, and on the advisory boards of NFANT and Medivo.

Kline is also a limited partner and member of the CEO council at Council Capital. She previously served as a director and chairman of the board for Avality, Medecision, and Innovista Health Solutions.

The Grand Canyon Association provides private funding to enable Grand Canyon National Park to build innovation in park services and support the necessities not currently funded by federal dollars.
