GroupSTAHL Names New Chief Executive Officer

GroupeSTAHL, a St. Clair-based company specializing in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of heat printing technologies,
has appointed Chris Lawson as chief executive officer.     

Previously, Lawson was CFO and executive vce president of Ross Roy Advertising. As investor and manager of start-up microbrewery Atwater Block Brewery, Lawson directed renovation of a historic building, managed staffing, manufacturing, sales, and marketing as well as development and expansion of the distributor network. Under his leadership, Atwater won numerous national awards and became the No. 2 brewery brand in the state in just three years.

Lawson was also the former managing partner of a real estate sub-development team for Palmetto Bluff, a master planned golf community and resort in South Carolina, and also as an investor/owner-representative in the development of the Ford Plantation, an exclusive private outdoor sporting community near Savannah, Ga.
