
Greenleaf Trust, an independent Michigan-chartered trust-only bank and wealth management firm based in Kalamazoo with a southeast Michigan presence in Birmingham, announced that its president, Michael Odar, has been appointed to the role of CEO.
In addition, he was appointed a director on the boards of Greenleaf Financial Holding Company, Greenleaf Trust, and Greenleaf Trust Delaware. He succeeds Ronald Kilgore as CEO, who will continue to serve as executive vice president, senior trust officer, member of the board of directors, and secretary to the board.

Odar has been a member of the Greenleaf Trust team for 23 years, leading Greenleaf Trust and Greenleaf Trust Delaware as president since 2012. In that role, he has partnered with the firm’s executive council to promote sustained growth, client service, and a continuously improving business and workplace culture.
