KALAMAZOO — Greenleaf Trust, an independent trust-only bank, has announced two new hires. They are:
Thomas I. Meyers, far left, a trust relationship officer responsible for the day-to-day trust administration and fiduciary compliance. Meyers practiced law for more than 20 years and has experience in trust administration and fiduciary risk management. He is a graduate of Kalamazoo College and the Indiana University School of Law. He is also a Certified Trust and Financial Adviser.
Christopher D. Burns joins Greenleaf Trust as a fixed income associate. He will be focusing on developing and implementing fixed income portfolio strategies. Previously, he was an associate client adviser at Bessemer Trust, primarily servicing ultra-high net worth clients. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a master’s in accounting from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. He is a licensed CPA and a 2014 Level II CFA Candidate.
Both Meyers and Burns will be working in the Kalamazoo office. Greenleaf Trust also has offices in Birmingham, Traverse City, and Petoskey.
