DETROIT — Greektown Casino-Hotel will open two of its latest property improvement projects to the public today, the Market District and state-of-the-art valet garage.
As an expansion of the property’s dining options, enter the Market District, a collection of five casual dining experiences featuring a New York-style deli (Bricktown Deli), an American concept focused on classic comfort foods (Full House Grill), and Italian (Eastside Italiano) and Asian-fusion (Wok & Roll) concepts. The first of the five new concepts, Cafe Mix, has been open since January and offers specialty coffees and cocktails along with pastries, sandwiches, and desserts. The Market District is located directly off the valet garage’s walkway with operating hours of 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday-Saturday.
The property’s new 900 space valet garage has easy access to the casino via an elevated, moving walkway that spans Monroe Street, and a location that facilitates quicker car retrieval times than the property’s existing valet garage. Anticipated to boost overall parking accessibility and capacity, the garage officially opened to the public yesterday morning.
Greektown’s recent property improvements, including the valet garage, Market District and signature, fine dining restaurant Brizola, employ over 200 workers, and represent the ongoing commitment to and investment in the city of Detroit’s revitalization.
