DETROIT — Grant Thornton LLP has named Ryan Giacolone as audit partner in the firm’s Detroit office
Giacolone of Lake Orion serves as the employee benefit plan audit practice leader in the Detroit office and has nearly 15 years of experience in public accounting. He has worked with both privately held and publicly traded companies in a variety of industry sector and focuses primarily in the areas of manufacturing and financial services.
“Ryan is a proven leader who has demonstrated great value to our dynamic clients and to our firm through his technical expertise and vast knowledge,” said Dan Zittnan, office managing partner of Grant Thornton’s Detroit practice.
Giacolone received a bachelor’s degree in economics and management from Albion College and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Junior Achievement Young Professionals Group. He is an active supporter of the Rainbow Connection. Giacolone is a certified public accountant.
