SOUTHFIELD — Gorman’s Home Furnishings And Interior Design has named Barbara Rumpel to its Southfield designer center and showroom as an interior designer.
In this position, Rumpel, of Rochester Hills, is responsible for working with homeowners to select furniture and accessories; provide in-home design counsel, including floor plans, furniture placement and room designs; and the selling of home furnishings.
Previously, the Ishpeming native worked for Art Sample Home in Saginaw as a sales and design consultant for 12 years.
