FARMINGTON HILLS — Louis C. Tegtmeyer, D.O., a board-certified general surgeon, has joined the medical staff at Botsford Hospital.
Dr. Tegtmeyer performs breast cancer surgeries, colorectal surgeries, and a variety of other general surgeries. His office is in Westland.
Following graduation from the Kansas City University of Medicine & Biosciences in Missouri, Dr. Tegtmeyer served a yearlong internship at Tucson General Hospital in Arizona and his general surgery residency at Garden City Hospital.
In addition to being a practicing general surgeon, Dr. Tegtmeyer serves on the clinical faculty of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in the Department of Osteopathic Surgical Specialties.
