ST. CLAIR SHORES — Theresa Ghafari, president and CEO of G-TECH Services Inc. in Dearborn, has become a member of Vistage Michigan, a chapter of the world’s leading chief executive organization. Vistage Michigan provides business leaders with access to new business perspectives, innovative strategies and actionable items.
Vistage Michigan includes more than 250 executives throughout Michigan. The organization’s members engage in ongoing peer workshops, one-to-one business coaching, speaker presentations from top industry experts, social networking and webinars and have access to an extensive online content library.
Ghafari started her career at G-TECH Services in 1989, initially working as a one-woman operation. At that time, she had recently emigrated from her native Lebanon to metro Detroit. Today, she has built the staffing solutions company into a multi-million dollar business with nearly 625 employees in 13 states and offices in Michigan, Illinois, and Texas.
The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council named the West Bloomfield resident a “WBE Star” in 2013. Ghafari earned recognition as a “Woman of Achievement” in 2009 from Vista Maria, a non-profit organization that seeks to transform the lives of girls who have faced abuse, neglect and other challenges.
