Due to strong growth, Ferndale-based Fuse Technology Group, a technical services and custom software programming company, is expanding its business by occupying an adjacent building on Hilton Road.
“Our expansion gives us necessary space to facilitate the tremendous growth in our programming division, which will allow us to hire more people and push that side of the company even further,” says Peter Sanders, Fuse Technology president. “Our company and other tech companies are really pushing to develop the Hilton corridor.”
Sanders says the new building, formerly occupied by CWL Investments, will nearly double its current space from from 3,400 square feet to 6,200 square feet. He says with 20 full time employees, the company was up 20 percent in revenues in 2014 over 2013 and is predicting a 30 percent increase this year.
“With us bringing more high tech jobs into what used to be traditionally a manufacturing section of Ferndale it is helping diversify the local economy as well contributing to Hilton Corridor as our staff is encouraged to eat and shop locally,” Sanders says.
The company started in Sanders’ Berkley home before moving to a small office in Madison Heights in 2006. In 2009, the company moved to a new larger headquarters, located at 2222 Hilton. Fuse will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2016.
