Freudenberg North America Appoints New President

PLYMOUTH —  Freudenberg North America has appointed Bob Evans as its president and the group’s regional representative. With this appointment, Evans also becomes the member of Freudenberg’s global executive team representing the North American region.

As president of Freudenberg North America, Evans heads the regional corporate center, a team of functional specialists who provide services and guidance to all Freudenberg businesses with operations in North America. As the regional representative, he is responsible for representing the Freudenberg Group’s interests in the region while working on cross-divisional cooperation of all Freudenberg entities in the region. At the same time, Evans continues his current responsibilities as the group’s general counsel for the region.

Evans joined the Freudenberg Group as general counsel of Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies and then became Freudenberg Group legal counsel for the Americas. Prior to Freudenberg, Bob worked in the legal departments of the Kimberly-Clark Corp. and NCR Corp., and with the law firm of Ice Miller.

Evans carries a Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Purdue University.
