ROYAL OAK — Stop by Dairy Queen on March 20 to make a difference by ordering an ice cream cone which will benefit Beaumont’s Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Miracle Network.
During Dairy Queen’s Free Cone day, guests are invited to make a donation with all money raised staying in the community. The fund raiser at the company’s southwest Michigan restaurants help Beaumont’s programs and services for children.
“Support of this sort helps us immeasurably in our mission to provide advanced care to the ones that matter most — the children and families of our community,” said Brian Berman, pediatrician-in-chief of Beaumont Children’s Hospital.
Company officials say since 1984, Dairy Queen and DQ Grill and Chill restaurants across the U.S. have raised more than $100 million for Beaumont’s Children’s Hospital and Children’s Miracle Network.
