Franco Public Relations Group Announces Promotions

DETROIT — Franco Public Relations Group, a Detroit-based public relations agency, has promoted Erica Swoish to account executive and Lauren Connor to assistant account executive.

Swoish, far left, supports several of Franco’s automotive and nonprofit clients, providing media relations, community relations, content creation, graphic design and event planning services. With an eye for design, Swoish also supports branding and design projects including infographics, newsletters and marketing collateral.

Prior to joining Franco in 2013, she served as a marketing intern for Ally Financial, Swoish of Northville, also managed Michigan State University’s student-run public relations agency and served on the board for the Public Relations Student Society of America.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication and public relations from Michigan State University.

Connor, of Royal Oak, services a variety of Franco accounts providing support with media relations, media monitoring and research. Prior to joining Franco as an intern, Connor honed skills in marketing, advertising, event planning, and PR as a marketing assistant for Central Michigan University’s Office of Student Activities and Involvement, and an advertising account executive for the university newspaper, Central Michigan Life.

Connor earned a bachelor of applied arts in integrative public relations with a minor in marketing from Central Michigan University, where she was an active member of PR Central, a student-run PR firm.
