Tina Benvenuti-Sullivan has been promoted to executive vice president and COO of Detroit’s Franco. She previously served as the firm’s senior vice president.

Benvenuti-Sullivan has more than 20 years of experience in communications, branding, and project management. She joined Franco as an account manager in 2011 and expanded the agency’s communication capabilities to better serve automotive, technology, and consumer clients.

“Tina is an important part of our team, embracing our values, being a champion of our culture, and furthering our vision and mission,” says Dan Ponder, CEO of Franco. “She has worked very hard over the past eight years to help the company achieve its performance goals and objectives, which include improved infrastructure, facilities, and financial performance.”

As COO, Benvenuti-Sullivan will help acquire new talent and lead the operations side of the business, ensuring early adoption of technology and processes.

Prior to joining Franco, Benvenuti-Sullivan worked as a corporate communications manager for Chrysler Group LLC, a communications director for Automotive Youth Education Systems, and a managing director of Eview 360. She was also an account supervisor at Bianchi Public Relations and a publicity assistant at The Henry Ford.

Benvenuti-Sullivan earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Michigan.

“Tina’s continuous forward motion and persistence has helped guide our teams in earning consistent results for our clients,” says Tina Kozak, president of Franco. “She plays an integral role in seeking new opportunities for our agency – from new business development to growing our capabilities with team members that have skills that will take us into the future of communications. She is a huge proponent of adopting new processes and tools that help make our business better and produce more efficient work for our clients.”

Franco integrates public relations, marketing, social media, design, and measurement to deliver communications programs. It was founded in 1964.
