FordDirect Names Senior-Level Executive Promotions

DEARBORN — FordDirect, a joint venture between Ford Motor Co. and its franchise dealers, have promotion of three employees to senior-level positions, including Jeff Krupp to senior vice president of OEM services; Chris Johnson to vice president of consumer acquisition; and Greg McLaurin to vice president of dealer operations.

Krupp, of Novi, was most recently vice president of OEM services, where he was responsible for leading the technology team and developing OEM related digital properties. As senior vice president of OEM services, he will have added responsibility, which includes continuing to grow FordDirect’s tier one business and leading the company’s competency building, while also driving the technology strategy and security initiatives.

Krupp holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at University of Michigan.

Johnson, of Rochester Hillls, will serve as vice president of consumer acquisition, where he will be responsible for managing all in market and customer acquisition related activities that are primarily focused on driving leads to dealers. Prieviously, he was senior director of advertising, where he was responsible for all the company’s advertising related products, including its Digital Adverting Solution and its Social Media and Reputation Management Service.

Johnson holds a bachelor’s in telecommunications management from Michigan State University, a Master of Science in information system management from Lawrence Technological University and a Master of Business Administration from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at University of Michigan.

McLaurin, of Northville, previously served as senior director of dealer operations. The FordDirect Dealer Operations Team provides strategic consultation and operational support for digital sales and service solutions to Ford and Lincoln dealers. In his new role as vice president of dealer operations, he will add leadership responsibility for the Regional Marketing Management Team to the Dealer Operations Group, which provides direct support for Ford’s regional marketing organizations.

McLaurin holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Eastern Michigan University.
