FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., February 24, 2009 – Feinberg Consulting announces the formation of its Comprehensive Elder Care Management Division.
“Families and professionals can now place their trust in us for an assessment of all their elder care needs,” said Pam Feinberg-Rivkin, president of Feinberg Consulting in Farmington Hills. “Our new division oversees the entire case management process as we assess, plan, coordinate and monitor each client to provide peace of mind.
The Comprehensive Elder Care Management Division will benefit older adults who want to live independently in a safe environment, without sacrificing their dignity, respect or quality of life. Care managers also will assist families and professionals working with those that have long term illnesses or special needs.
Feinberg Consulting begins with a professional assessment and plan that is personalized to individual need including an evaluation of current conditions, the medical and cognitive status of an individual, environmental issues, choices of action and future recommendations. They implement the plan and identify alternative housing, evaluate and recommend alternative living arrangements or needs for appropriate caregivers in the home. Their care management covers the coordination of services and community resources and supervision of in-home and nursing home care.
The division was formed to serve local and long-distance adult children or family caregivers, aging citizens with no support system and the legal and medical community, including trust officers, courts, attorneys, physicians and hospitals, responsible for elderly individuals. The care planning, health management, and monitoring assistance team is comprised of a director of clinical services who is an academic physician, and certified case managers that include nurses and social workers. The Feinberg Consulting staff provides the necessary communication to maintain quality care.
