TROY — Michigan native and nationally renowned clothing designer Pamella Roland will host a runway fashion show showcasing her exciting pamella roland Resort & Spring 2015 Collections on Wednesday at Saks Fifth Avenue in Troy.

Roland will make a personal appearance at the show, which will raise money for the Florine & J. Peter Ministrelli Women’s Heart Center. The event includes a luncheon in the Rotunda of Somerset Collection followed by the fashion show at Saks Fifth Avenue.

“We are beyond thrilled and honored to have Pamella in our Troy store,” says Saks Vice President and General Manager Ina Levinson.  “Her inspiring design will capture the imaginations of our clients and guests, and the pairing of Pamella’s collection with the fabulous Beaumont Heart to Heart event could not be more fitting.”

Roland launched pamella roland Collection in 2002, taking the lead as the creative force behind the label.  The label was the recipient of the 2003 Gold Coast Award, and in 2010, Roland was inducted into the Council of Fashion Designers of America.

“I make it a point to travel to as many points of distribution as possible to meet my customers.  I wear these clothes and can relate to what my customers want from their wardrobes,” Roland says.
