Farmington Hills’ UHY Advisors Appoints Three Managing Directors

UHY Advisors, a professional services firm in Farmington Hills, has announced the appointment of three managing directors: John Bautista, Alex Conti, and Katie Crockett. Conti and Crockett are both based in Michigan.

In addition, UHY Advisors Michigan promoted 64 other employees, including three principles: Aki Baydoun, Andrew Gilbert, and Matt Okkerse.

Conti is a managing director of UHY Corporate Finance. He leads a team of professionals who focus on transactions at all levels, including due diligence, restructuring, and capital sourcing. He works with business owners to value companies and negotiate deals. Conti received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance, investments, and banking from University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Crockett is a managing director of UHY Advisors MI Inc. She is a leader of the tax practice specializing in tax compliance, business forecasts, and tax strategies. Crockett’s practice includes manufacturing, high net worth, and medical industries. She is involved in the Women Investing in Success and Excellence Group for the Great Lakes region. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration and master’s in accountancy from Walsh College.

Recently, UHY acquired Stewart, Beauvais, and Whipple, an accounting firm in Port Huron, making it UHY’s fifth location in Michigan. UHY’s Michigan practice has more than 400 employees across the southeast region.
