The Farbman Group, a full-service commercial real estate firm in Southfield, announced the promotion of two leaders, John Harwood and Robyn Bergstedt, and the addition of five new members, Jennifer Babila, Chelsea Jones, Stewart McGrath, MJ Fernandez, and Julie Lindley.

Harwood was promoted from vice president to senior vice president. Prior to his new role, Harwood worked in commercial property for 10 years as an associate broker and vice president with Farbman Group.

Bergstedt, formerly a senior corporate accountant, was promoted to corporate controller. Bergstedt has served on the Farbman Group accounting team for more than 12 years.

Babila joins Farbman Group as a property manager with more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate management. Her areas of expertise include tenant retention, reducing operating expenses, improving building efficiency, and more.

Jones was hired as a staff accountant in Farbman’s corporate office. Jones has more than nine years of accounting experience, including six years working in property and residential real estate.

McGrath joins Farbman as an engineer for the Detroit Produce Terminal. He brings 30 years of property management experience to his new role, which includes facilities, security, and vehicle fleet management.

Fernandez was hired as a maintenance technician for the firm. He has more than 25 years of prior maintenance experience. Fernandez most recently spent the last 18 years as a co-owner of a custodial company.

Lindley joins Farbman Group’s corporate administration team as an executive assistant. She brings more than 20 years of prior administrative experience to her new role, as well as a certificate in project management and human resources.
