SOUTHFIELD — Farbman Group partnered with Birmingham-based Beyond Basics —a nonprofit organization that aims to assist at-risk children by developing fundamental reading and writing skills— last month to collect donations for the firm’s annual coat drive.
To collect donations, Farbman Group placed boxes in the company’s office buildings throughout Southeast Michigan. As a result of the month long drive, more than 250 coats were collected, as well as, other cold weather essentials including hats, gloves, scarves, and mittens.
“Giving back to our local communities is part of the fabric of our company. Especially during this time of year, we are thankful for the generosity of our tenants and everyone who donated to make this winter a little warmer for local families,” says Andrew V. Farbman CEO of Farbman Group.
