SOUTHFIELD — Farbman Group today announced President, CEO, and director of brokerage Andy Farbman has been recognized by Real Estate Forum magazine as a 40 Under 40 honoree.
Real Estate Forum’s 40 Under 40 acknowledges rising stars demonstrating commitment to commercial real estate excellence and industry leaders making a significant impact in the commercial real estate space. Farbman was selected from more than 250 nominees.
The publication lauded Farbman for recently capitalizing on office property opportunities in Chicago’s Loop and adding regional offices in Tampa and St. Petersburg, Fla. markets during the recent economic downturn.
“Andy Farbman is tenacious, laser-focused and seizes opportunities others miss,” said Farbman Group CFO Andy Gutman. “He’s an entrepreneurial operator of Institutional Properties and has taken the company and Farbman Group’s brokerage division, NAI Farbman, to new heights. Farbman also leveraged the company’s experience in receivership, property management, construction, leasing and disposition, helping institutions across the country to understand and take appropriate action to recover from the commercial foreclosure crisis that the nation has been experiencing. This experience and Farbman management team’s ability to market it has led to growth within the company during the worst parts of the recession.
