Family Law Attorney Henry S. Gornbein Named Of Counsel at Lipson Neilson

Henry S. Gornbein, an attorney with specialties in all areas has family law, has been named of counsel of Lipson Neilson PC, a firm with offices in Bloomfield Hills, Grosse Pointe, Nevada, Arizona, and Colorado.

Gornbein is a former chair of the family law section of the State Bar of Michigan, a former president of the Michigan chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and a former chair of the long-range planning committee of the National American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He is known as an expert in understanding social media’s role in divorces, as well as on issues such as wiretapping, computer hacking, phone tapping, and spycams.

In addition to having a running column called “Case of the Issue” in the Family Law Section Journal of the State Bar of Michigan, his work has been included in national law publications, and he has a streaming video podcast series about aging parents called “Gracefully Greying.” Gornbein has also written the book “Divorce Demystified, Everything You Need to Know Before You File for Divorce” and co-authored “Child Custody: A Complete Guide for Parents.”

Lipson Neilson was started in Detroit in 1985.
