SOUTHFIELD — Michigan can now reclaim the title of the Engineering Hub of the United States. With 45 companies exhibiting and 3,100 technical and engineering opportunities available, The Engineering Society of Detroit (ESD) Fall Engineering and Technology Job Fair is a must attend for anyone looking for a full or part-time job, or even considering switching careers.
Major companies and small businesses will be recruiting in the following areas: Architects, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Design, Energy, Electrical, Biomedical, Environmental, Aerospace, Transportation, Biofuels, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Programming, Technical and other engineering and technology related fields.
Prospective candidates should bring several companies of their updated resumes, as well as enter their resumes ahead of time into the ESD Job Bank. This is a free service designed to serve the employment needs of highly qualified engineers and technical professionals.
Cost to attend the job fair for non-members of ESD is $10 (which includes a one-year membership to ESD, entry into the job fair and the opportunity to network with corporate employers throughout Southeastern Michigan) if registered by October 17 and $15 after the deadline. Members of ESD can attend free of charge.
